We were very proud to be shortlisted for the Inspire & Culture Awards in the ‘Inspire to Create’ Category, alongside Inspire Youth Arts.

Inspire Youth Arts worked with our young people to create a song for our 25th Anniversary last year. It enabled our Youth Club members to collectively write a song that portrayed how they feel about navigating long-term health conditions and how having a space like the hospital Youth Club helps them.  Young people were involved in making the music and singing vocals.

The song is called “I Need Somebody” and we are excited to say that we won!!  Erin & Emily, the main vocalists of the song, went along to Mansfield Central Library to the awards ceremony to collect the award, along with Donna & Clare.
